 Rooster Cup (CCOED) defined

  • Teams are comprised of both men and/or women with a minimum of high school skill/experience levels. This is the perfect follow up bracket for those that have participated in the Jonkman Cup (B) or higher brackets.
  • Available in June.
  • Teams must follow the bracket's AEA Salary Cap constraints.

Johnson Cup (RCOED) defined

  • Teams are comprised of both men and/or women with many years of gen-rec to high school skilled experience levels. Participants that have participated in the Potter Cup (C) would most likely be good fit for this bracket.
  • Available in May.
  • Teams must follow the bracket's AEA Salary Cap constraints.

rooster cup & johnson cup rules (section 6)

  1. MALE players must place a tournament sticker on the middle, front portion of their helmet.
  2. NO more than two (2) men on the ice at ANY time. This applies to when you pull the goalie as well.
    - Face-off outside the zone.
  3. NO player can score more than two (2) goals in a game.
    - Face-off outside the zone.
  4. NO slap shots men or women.
    - 2 Min. Pentalty | Face-off outside the zone.
  5. You must have a defensive pairing of man/woman or woman/woman (You may not have two (2) male players on defense at the same time).
    - Face-off outside the zone.
  6. 3 skaters and/or Finals OT: 2 Female Skaters & 1 Male Skater
  7. NO player can skate the puck over both blue lines. A player may dump the puck over the offensive blue line and retrieve it once it crosses over the goal line.
    - Face-off outside the zone.
  8. Three (3) penalties to any player; player removed from the game.
  9. Nine (9) or more penalties combined between the teams; run-time.
  10. SHOOTOUTS, must follow female, male, alternation format; until one gender is exhausted. All players must shoot once before any shooter has a second opportunity.
  11. All other standard SPC Rules apply.
