Johnson Cup (REC-COED)

The Johnson Cup (RCOED) is designed much like the Potter Cup (C), designed for those that look to have more fun versus the competitiveness of the Rooster Cup (CCOED) bracket.

johnson cup (rcoed) defined

Teams are comprised of both men and women at the c and/or b bracket skill/experience levels; a couple players may exceed these skill/experience levels. These players could be considered "liaison" players. Rosters should not have more than two (2) liaison players on their roster. Please build your roster with the following parameters.

  • NO more than two (2) liaison players on a roster.
Liaison Player Defined: A player that has played high school or higher organized hockey, under the age of 35. A player that is there only to assist in the flow of the game.
  • NO high school+ skilled goaltenders; unless over the age of 45.

Players must be older than 18 years of age. Please take note of the AEA Salary Cap value for this bracket, and be sure to be at or at an acceptable team value. This is our "fun" COED bracket, games are light in nature and everyone should have the opportunity to learn and play. This is a bracket built for low to moderate competition; and should still hold a level of integrity and sportsmanship. All rosters must be approved prior to the tournament.
